The employees must be involved in the process. We are convinced that a successful Mystery Shopping program requires information and understanding in the organisation about the purpose with the program and how is will be used. The questions in the checklist used by the shopper should not be a secret or surprise to the employees, but instead the things that are most important for the company. Employees at all levels must be informed and if they are allowed to influence the checklist, then they will also be more interested in the results.
